I have a strange problem with my phone contacts synchronizing. I currently have a Samsung SGH-P520 that is paired with my 2008 Vantage, and where I’m able to receive and make calls with no difficulty, only half my phonebook contacts are available. It always seems the numbers I want to call are the ones not synchronized so i need to dial the number from my phone.
I can find no common link between the numbers that are syncing and the ones that are not i.e. saving number to the phone sim vs phone memory.

Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and is it a problem with the car kit or the phone?

I recently bought a 2008 V8V with bluetooth. My Samsung u900 works fine EXCEPT I cant get into the phone book at all! I have to dial the number, OR scroll through 'Recent Contacts' (which for some reason, do work). Others on this forum have suggested that AM dealers have a list of phones that are fully/partially compatible. As an aside, I just took it in to AM Brentwood with a list of minor warranty niggles (and this was on of them). When I got the car back I had to re-pair the phone to the car again (so I suppose they had a look at it), but nothing changed!
