squeaks like an old pram when turning (usually left)
Discussion
The last issue I have left to resolve on the 2008 V8V I bought in June is the squeaking (from outside the car) and I was wondering if anyone else has this. Happens nearly all the time when turning left (90 degrees left at a junction) doing about 20mph. The closest thing I can liken it to is a squeaky old pram (one of the old prams with big wheels!). Doesnt sound like its doing any good either! Maybe is the power steering? Never had this on any car so I'm out of ideas. Just had this back from AM Brentwood (Essex) and they have not fixed it.
The squeak you describe seems to be a common problem that the dealers attribute to the parking brakes. I have had them adjusted several times over the last 2+ years of ownership and the squeak goes away for a while and then returns. There has been plenty of discussion about it on the AMOC forums but I haven't heard of any definitive cure.

The "cure-all" from AML for anything to do with squeaky brakes is basically - have a few emergency stops, from 50mph up to about 100mph where road conditions and laws apply.
My experience with the V8 brakes was that they would be squeaky quite a lot of the time but a couple of hours on some b-roads and some heavy linear braking and they'd be right as rain.
I suspect that the braking system in the V8 is pretty damn good but it does not respond well to being ignored or underused. Tread on 'em, treat 'em mean and keep 'em keen!!

I'm pretty sure I've occasionally witnessed the noise that you're referring to.
I fail to see how it can possibly be related to the handbrake. Last time I looked the handbrake activates on the rear wheels, which one would assume are unaffected by steering angle (unless the bearings are well and truly shot). Therefore the correlation between the two seems at best very, very tenuous.
If I recall I've only met this when the car has been parked up for a while.
Here's me thinking out loud.
Is it possible (in fact highly likely) that the brake hose volume changes very subtly under significant lock, forcing the pads onto the front disk a little bit. At the speeds we're talking about that could cause the brake pads to sqeal.
We already know that even going straight the pads like to squeal in the last vestiges of slowing down so this would probably tally.
It also correlates with the use em hard and it goes away theory.
The only fix for that would be rerouting the hoses, changing the make up of them or something even more drastic, which IMO is probably not worth the effort.

I've had this on mine. They (Aston Martin) have had several attempts to fix it and it still comes back.
I think it is part of the character of the car...
I get something similar on my pickup truck. As it only cost £16k as it is a work vehicle and gets the s**t knocked out of it it seems acceptable, however...................!I think it is part of the character of the car...

Mine too, Aston Martin works service described as above, when I suggested that my solution to this is pulling on the handbrake at speed to stop it, he just smiled. Seems to work for a while, I've found it does it more after a long run when everything is hot and you find yourself in slow moving traffic.I think it is part of the character of the car...
Its rather annoying really, but part of the Aston "thing" I guess
Add me to the list as well. My Vantage does this as well and the dealer has tried fixing it twice by adjusting the handbrake—which I find odd because the sound seems to come from the front left wheel, not the rear. The sound is a cyclical squeak at about 20mph when turning left and is more likely to occur when the car has been warmed up.
