Hi all, I would appreciate your help with the following. The inner edge of the front offside tyre on my DB7 Vantage is wearing really bady. Tracking I thought. Just had it checked at my local garage (I know the guy well and he really took his time and did it really accurately). The reading was half a degree toe in.
We couldn't find the correct reading on his computer - it didn't list any AMs, so first question -is this reading about right, what should the toe in be? Secondly if the tracking is OK any ideas on why the offside tyre is wearing on the inside when the nearside tyre is perfect?

many thanks, regards all, Lord Brett

Pressures? Camber?

Might be worth taking it somewhere who knows what the settings should be as something sounds awry.

Had a similar wear pattern on mine a few years ago - it was the suspension that needed sorting out, something IMO best done by an expert on Astons rather than a good generalist. It wasn't massively expensive from memory.

Best to swop that wheel with one of the others asap to even out the wear!

My Golf GTi work car is doing the same to its N/S front. It can also be from having fun round roundabouts wink (and maybe being slightly over pressured)

Probably best to get the tracking and cambers looked at.

sounds likean issue with suspension bushes the upper wishbones beingthe most likely your best to take it to an aston specialist to get it checked out properly.
a full re bush will cost about 750 but thats cheaper than killing tyres all the time
