I'm interested in this.

I'm a current 911 owner looking at either a new 911 or an AMV8R.

Also, does anyone know if the passenger seat can have its airbag deactivated and a rear facing isofix seat fitted ?

many thanks

isofix or electric passenger seat are your options from new ...mines got isofix ...check the spec

personally, for that kind of money, id make sure I was getting a 4.7 Vantage, not the older generation 4.3 ..that extra 40bhp makes a lot of difference

the spec datasheet says 'electrically adjustable front seats' so i guess that means no isofix front passenger seat then...

interesting point about the price. its £70k. I'm thinking its not worth that because its 7 months old, though the mileage is low. I'm suspicious though...why hasn't it sold and why has it just sat there ? I know the market isn't great for sellers, but what sort of price is it worth then ?

What he says. Plus, the mid-range torque makes a lot of difference.

Nice looking car,I wonder though if it is the one Autocar ran as a long term test car,not that it matters.

I believe it is indeed an ex-factory car, though what it was used for I don't know; although if memory serves, the dealer did mention Autocar.

Original price started at £78K in Aug 2009, I would have thought you may be able to knock a little more off as it is a brand new 4.3 and I dare say the dealer wants it to go..

I'd find out when the car was actually built and how old it is - not the date of registration. I suspect the car was sitting somewhere for a while. You could try and use that in your negotiation.

It's an odd spec - the cheaper 160W stereo, red contrast stitching in the seats, titanium silver and red roof. Now, I like the titanium silver (mine's that colour), but it's not a common colour (look at the wiki of owners) and the red roof and red stitching may put off prospective buyers. If you are looking for a keeper rather than a short term car then go for it, but I'd prove to the dealer that you can trade NOW and then low ball the dealer and see what he says.

Good luck!
