Hello Gents,

well currently I own a reeeeaaaly old beamer for mon to fri use
and weekends my Sagaris comes in the arena...

...unfortunately I want a stunner for everyday so what do you think,
is a Vantage the right vihicle for that?

How reliable are they and how many miles are between the services ?

Thanks for your advice,
cheers
Frank

Short answer -
YES!

Long answer, do a search on this forum, lots of info, question has been posed a few times. Lots of the people here use them every day, and looks like many are ex TVR owners

10k intervals and very reliable in my experience ...my car has done 44K miles in 2.5 years and is a daily driver (when im working) ..used in all weathers, sometimes 400-500 mile round trips in a day

the running costs if you use an indy, and stay away from expensive dealers ..well...no more than a mid-high end German saloon

I've been driving mine every day for the last 8 months, EXCEPT when it has been snowing. So if you have something for the snow or live where that's not an issue, driving it every day is the best way to drive it.

I've had three and used them every day.

No more issues than using previous Porsche, MB, etc.

Be prepared for minor niggles though (maybe quite a few!!) but these will largely be sorted by the dealer with no issues.

DBS now being pressed into daily service with similar experience.

Although when i bought my V8V i had another car (an 12yr old Audi estate), I can honestly say that i have used the Audi only once in the past 8 months since owning the Aston. It quickly became the everyday car as I enjoyed driving it so much and couldn't possibly pass it in the street and get into the audi.. This has meant that it has seen its fair share of supermarket car parks and Mrs Nofuse22 is a frequent visitor to our local homebase in it... reliability has been fine: there have been a couple of minor niggles but nothing that wasnt sorted very quickly. I have been thoroughly recommending AMs to all my mates. Definitely do it!

+1

I had a Beemer for everyday and a Cerbera for high days and holidays. I bought a V8V in place of the Cerb and I've hardly used the Beemer since...

Without a doubt - many minor quirks with the car are down to low usage. Driven every day the car is both a delight and reliable

I have not seen any issues that have been caused by using the cars as daily drivers and have proved themselves to be very reliable, and the niggles on the whole do not take much to fix, with the average yearly repair costs not being that different from cars that only come out at weekends,

I am only in my second week of ownership, but certainly the V8V is just as easy as a daily driver as my RS4.

Really dull question I know but what sort of fuel economy are people getting when using the AM V8 everyday?

really does depend on how you drive and or what sort of journeys you will be doing.

i got 26mpg today on the motorway (new car) with air con on and not exactly going 'steady eddy' - my 997 was sitting on average 26.1Mpg for months which i thought was also pretty good. maybe i drive too carefully ? :-)
