Living with Quantum Silver

Anyone living with Quantum Silver on your new V8 Vantage or DBS ? Comments please.

Or anyone seen this colour on new Aston, comments please.

Here are some photos I found:






Very nice in my opinion. Possibly slightly lighter in shade than Meteorite Silver, but darker than Tungsten Silver. Seems to have a nice light/dark flip in pearlescent finish.

Agreed - nice colour - saw one today and it looked great in the flesh.

Saw a DB9 in the dealers showroom in QS when I picked up my V8V in Casino Royale. Quantum was much darker than the Casino - a little like Meteroite Silver but had a fantastic green flake tint. Looked almost like an iridescent "green-bottle" fly green.

Although blurred, (could not get focus) attached is the Casino which shows red, green, blue and yellow flake. I think Aston are doing some cool things with paints these days - even at the critisism that everyone is buying grey/silver/black.

I saw the colour on 2 cars in the showroom today. A DBS and Vantage Roadster. I would love to have seen it in natural sunlight to really see the pearlecent colours, but it was pissing down with rain at the time, so will try again on Monday. Think it will look well on V8 Vantage with N400 sills and sportspack wheels.

Just got a V12Vantage in Quantum silver. I saw quite a few V12's in a variety of silvers but this was by far my favourite. Looks good covered in road grime too!

They are the Sports Pack with 10 Spoke Forged Alloy wheels with Diamond Turned and Graphite Finish - this is a new option for the 2010 model year.

Guycord's are the same wheel in the silver finish in the picture of his car above.

..no mine are the same as yours - with the Graphite painted only on the side of each spoke. The photo was a tad over-exposed!
