He could try Rick a Derby motor services, he is thought of quite highly amongst Aston owners on here.

I have the same car - I am curious how many miles did your friend's clutch last ? Does he thrash it ?

Haven`t a clue mate, and I`m off to Egypt tomorrow, I`ll pop the question when I next see him.

Rick did mention to me the possibility of getting us to develop a clutch/flywheel package for the DB9. As most of you probably know we developed one for the 4.3L Vantage. I don't think it would be too difficult to do the same for the DB9, but we would need to have access to a car to develop and test fit. From what I understand the DB9 clutch life isn't terrible (it is a twin plate already) but it is a massive, massive lump of a unit so we could probably make some good improvements, get half the weight out of it.

Anyway, food for thought, would be interested to hear some owners' opinions.
