My rear parking sensors have just started to make a continuous single beeeeeeeppppppppppp when I select reverse.

Have done all the normal things like checking the sensors are clean and that there isn't a dwarf stood directly behind the car etc.

The vantage has never been jetwashed, and pressing the internal button does turn the noise off - but any ideas how to make 'em work properly again ?

On a few cars that i know of have had the sensors fail, If you select reverse then get some one to move there hand next to the sensor so they are nearly touching you should hear a click, If you dont hear a click it could be that sensor that is faulty, Or you could have a trapped wire. If you take it to a dearler they will be able to use data logger and tell you what the fault is.

Mine tends to do it when I have cleaned the car, but after the car dries out normal service is resumed.

It was very wet when I drove it yesterday- hopefully will dry out this evening and I will check again tomorrow, and the "click" thing too if no luck. Thanks for your suggestions.
