Just got back from the Geneva motor show. I would like to report good news from the Aston stand but sadly the Cygnet was on it and I promptly puked all over it much to the chargrin of the the suits standing around who I moonied at for good measure. I would have taken a dump on it but I think the Swiss would have found that somehow objectionable.
It looks worse in the flesh than it does in pictures guys. I do not believe anyone will buy this piece of crap.

This chap says he's just back from Geneva and says:
"Good news is that AM did not have the Cygnet with them and they still make the best looking cars on the planet."
Someone must be wrong, unless there's a cygnet on a non-Aston Martin stand (maybe Toyota!?)
FWIW as someone with older Aston Martin's, to me the brand dilution has already happened. I didn't see another Aston for about 3-4 months after I first bought my first one 8-9 years ago. Now I see them most days. The company would have been exclusive and bust if they'd carried on as they were. The same may be true today.

I think part of this is down to living where we do...I've also noticed I'm seeing far fewer lately.FWIW as someone with older Aston Martin's, to me the brand dilution has already happened. When I go back "home" (North), I see far, far fewer still. Probably see as many DB7s as I do V8s or DB9s.
And to be honest, when they look as good as the cars do it wouldn't bother me particularly if I saw twice as many

It would say it all, if it wasn't wrong Aston are doing the Cygnet for around £30k, they are also doing some sort of special edition at £50k, however, things seem to have been blurred and now Evo in that video, along with some others, are giving the impression the car will be £50k full stop

Does it matter whether it's £30k or £50k?? Either way, it's way far much for a bdised Toyota. ETA: Ooohh; automatic censoring of 'bdised' even though not a swear word - in this context anyway!
