How about an Aston photo thread!

There is also a nice red V12VS for sale in France, lovely color combo, also red stitching in the interior, sadly not the lightweight bucket seats.

Following on from https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... I finally got some photos in the nice evening sun of this unique AMR V12. I can't stop staring at it

It really is quite something Nick inside and out.

nice photos, rare in and outside and I see now the AMR writing, so also rare, cool.
Ta! Let's face it, it's a V12S with a Performance Pack by default and some different paint and stitching. In a way, like many Vantage specials over the years (N430, etc.). But it feels really special, which is the trick Mr.Tremlini said:
Your photos do it a lot more favours than the HWM shots!
In all fairness, it's a weird paint to capture. It changes so much in the various lights. It got caught out in a light shower today when I parked up along a drive I was doing, and with droplets on, it looked quite different again. It's not a trick paint, but Aston has a number of these paint jobs which really change according to conditions (there's a very dark blue one, and Volcano Red could look quite orange in sunlight). All fun!EVR said:
Beautiful stuff Nick. Take off those ugly airbag/safety stickers from the dashboard side, first thing I did on mine.
LOL! I should do, but feel best to leave them.Talking about sticky things... the number plates are stuck on (front and rear). I didn't mind the front number plate plinth, even though it looks a little chunky. But it did purposefully serve as the first point of impact in any low speed parking bump (namely somebody reversing into a space in front of you). But I don't dare peel the plates off in case I take the paint with it. No that's that reg that's sticking with it. Literally!

I know the feeling. I took a Yellow Tang V12VS out a while back, the paint looks extraordinary in the sunlight, but in different light states it can look less vibrant, and flattens out when the clouds roll in, the photos don`t really do it justice compared to when you`re standing there looking at it.
That’s a stunning car!!! They had one in AM Bristol last year and it was a real show-stopper colour. Beautiful!Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
