Don't think I have posted these before. My car being cleaned and going away in storage until I am back in the UK...............love the way the light reflects in the paintwork.

Best to all.

We had a great evening with the Queensland Club attending a private viewing of No Time To Die.
we had 65 attend and we had 6 cars arranged, a DB5, DBSS, Vanquish, Vantage V12S Vantage V8, a new model Vantage however one broke and one couldnt get there so we had the first 4 on display at the theatre.
Here is a pic of my wife and I in front of an aptly numbered DB5.
The movie was great and we had a raffle prize of a weekend in a new Aston for some lucky bugger, this helped raise $1000 for the club.

Foggy, wet. Better to keep the car in the garage. Ok, next time.

Here my 1988 V8 Vantage Volante, with me since 2003. I had the pleasure to get Clarkson driving her in his DVD "Hot Metal" and a review with Classic Cars in 2004 ish... cannot remember exactly. I have a new plate now.

As my first Aston, I REALLY want to keep it clean and shiny, but I just can't resist going out for a drive, even in this damp, grey weather.

Still - gives an opportunity for a moody photo....

Hopefully getting another day in North Wales tomorrow, so I may have some more soon...

Superbly inappropriate! How did it perform? Presuming you didn't purchase it as a track car I am curious as to why you ended up on Oulton in it? Back up car? Just to see what it can do?

I saw a grey one the other day and must say for an SUV I rather like them. People are speaking highly of them too.

It wa great on track! Video here. I had only had it 2 weeks at this point so I kept it is "indiviual mode" (everything set to sport) rather than "track mode" as that disabled the traction control and I didn't want to have a mishap so soon into ownership. It was wet & greast too (mid Nov).

I normally take my 2016 NSX on track but it was in for a service & bodywork which ran over, so rather than cancel the day, I took the DBX. Glad I did!

Thanks! I like to use my cars properly, especially when cars like the DBX are much maligned as being a "posers car" etc.

I saw my first one "in the wild" (i.e. outside of a dealer event) this week. It was (perhaps unsurprisingly) in Mayfair, A good-looking (and nice sounding) beast.

That said, I was on my way to look at the new Range Rover - which I think better suits my needs (boot space for the dogs).

Great vid of the DBX on track. Impetus to bring my Vantage on track in Feb once I get brake pads sorted. What are the two dials in the centre console reading?

Big respect for that - looks like good fun on track!

I must admit, although I do a lot of track days I haven't dared take the Vantage on yet. The consumables cost is massive (I'm getting through rear tyres in ~4k road miles as it is) and I don't fancy the risk of losing the factory warranty or binning it!
