It would be interesting to know your feelings once you`re back in the Virage (The King Julien of car colours ;-)
Well Dean, I completely love my car and don't want to hurt its feelings (?) but... the DB11 is FANTASTIC.Now I'm by no means a technicality adept driver that can wax lyrical about how you are in 'touch with the road' and how the 'torque levels manifests themselves.' So all I can say is it's bloody quick, the turbo is amazing. I've no aversion to having a turbo in a car.
The different settings (GT, Sport and Sport+) really do change the feel of the ride. In reality you just leave it in Sport+ to keep the inane grin on your face. Unless it's wet, then you need to "step away from the +,"
The 'blip, of over revving when you decelerate ( see, told you I wasn't technical) is a joy to hear and makes you approach a roundabout /stop a bit too quickly just so you can hear that sound as you drop down through the gears.
I'm still not a big fan of he interior as I think there are too many angles, it doesn't flow like the old waterfall fascia does. But it's a very comfortable car with what seems like more legroom. Handy as I'm 6'3". You could easily do very long distances in the car comfortably.
It has a real presence on the road judging by the looks, smiles, thumbs up and open mouthed children we saw.
All in all a wonderful car which I just wished I could afford. It was hard to give it back.

Thanks James, most interesting, kind of what I expected I guess... From everything I have read and seen it is clearly an extremely quick GT car with comfort and poise in all the right places. I tend to think Aston got it quite right with this car. Turbochargers, well, the writing has been on the wall with regards to emissions and this vehicle doesn't seem to suffer from having them! I am not enamoured with the interior, but I am sure I could live with it. With all the clientele that are out there scooping the DB11 up left, right and centre I would say the people at Gaydon are quite sure they got it quite right too. Roll on the new Vantage! Now I'm by no means a technicality adept driver that can wax lyrical about how you are in 'touch with the road' and how the 'torque levels manifests themselves.' And when I was handing it back I saw these....
Apparently both Zagatos owned by the same person!!!!!
Saw them both on Saturday , Vantage hits the spot for me , not keen on the gold trim on the Vanquish , but who am I to criticise the man who bought them both.Apparently both Zagatos owned by the same person!!!!!
