Gear shift noise

Just had mod done on stiff gearbox and found a metalic clunk when pushing into 1st 3rd or 5th gear is this normal?

simply no, sounds like the cables are incorrectly adjusted, is the distance from neutral shorter for the other gears and longer for the affected gears,
