adding a boot badge to a vantage

Hi, I have a v8 vantage, which is debadged. I have now bought a boot badge and wondered if anyone knows, what adhesive I should use to glue it on?

I think John Knowks worked for Aston after the BBC, As a lot of the bits and bobs of my Vanquish, the badge is held with `double sided sticky tape` James Bond`er was also employed by Aston but he used the `glue gun` Romour has it Jasper Carrat also worked in the paint department.(mine is a Ferrari color)

Its easier to clean without it. Did someone rip the old one off?
