to large - not very comfortable on our 3rd world roads in town here in Germany and i am always scared to get the car scratched - all in all that spoils a bit the pleasure of driving here - perhaps i am getting old and like my friend Adrian says: i am ready for Cardigan, Pipe and Slippers
If only Aston would listen to customers like yourself and maybe release some kind of city car for you to compliment your DBS............. Edited by XXXAngelXXX on Wednesday 14th April 16:15

Considering that the top of the range Jag is half the price of the DBS and that they are buildt next to each other in Gaydon one has to ask oneselves what the profit margin is the AML.
Eh? The XK is built at the Jagur factory at Castle Bromwich. Not sure where you got that from.clorenzen said:

A similarity between the chassis or change in build process I wasn't aware of. Turns out not, so two differnt cars, not based on the same platform built(d) in different factories by different companies is what we have. Not sure you can conclude that Aston must be creaming the profits on that basis, no doubt the XK will benefit from greater economies of scale and automation than Aston can achieve with the DBS.
