Noticed recently that the wheels , especially the fronts on my 2007 Vantage have loads of small corrosion pits around the ends of the spokes.

Anyone have a preference for wheel cleaner to clean off brake dust ?

Ive got some Meguires wonder wheels kicking about for occasional use, but to be honest, if you get them clean once, stick some wheel wax on them and get it topped up from time to time, you shouldnt need anything other than soap n water

Im not a fan of some of the more harsh cleaning products, so i cheated and have antrhacite "always clean" wheels wink

hey arent very good quality, as far as wheels go and the only way you can get them close to clean is using something like the cleaner in my product guide and claying them.

If it was my car though, i would get all 4 refurbed and then wax them up and stay on top of them.

and just to note some of the more aggressive cleaners affect more than just the wheels, I have seen brake calipers, brake pad retaining pins etc in poor condition and one thing i ask is what do you use on your wheels and usually it is a product which is acidic,

Yeah, ive seen calipers dulled from use of acidic wheel cleaner.

Autoglym clean wheels and wonder wheels are common ones.
