Off to Paris next weekend. What do the Brits on here arrange breakdown cover wise when taking your Aston abroad?

Hi

AA 5 Star for me every time.

I used them once 4 years ago when my TVR engine blew up in France and they were superb. The car got home in 4 days (quicker than us!) and they arranged pick up of my Tiv in less than an hour; 1.5 hour taxi ride to pick a French hire car up on a Sunday morning (we were in the middle of nowhere); UK hire car to get home; a delay on returning the hire car as it was the weekend...etc - excellent service

same here - AA every time ...if you go abroad more than once a year, its cheaper to take a years cover rather than individual trip cover

I had to use it once, to get me and a car back, after a breakdown on the way back from LeMans ....hass free and home later that evening ...much better to have the cover than end up with a £1400 bill for multiple recovery vehicles etc

Check out ADAC - they are germany's biggest provider and costs 80euros or so per year and covers you in any car. Apparently one of the few companies that will collect you on the autobahns etc. The website is in german so its a bit more hassle but a lot of people use them and love it. I haven't had to use them yet luckily.

Am also an AA customer. I think if you're out for less than 72hrs (and you're a current customer) it's free or very cheap - you just have to tell them you're going.

If the Aston is less than 3 years old, isn't National/Eurocover breakdown included with the warranty?

I dont have my documents to hand right now, but I'm pretty certain it is?

Comments?

I'm sure that if your Aston is less than three years old it will have national and european cover and if have a older car and taken out the AM extended warranty that may cover europe as well ?

Extended warranty includes European wide breakdown cover.
