Scratches on dashboard speedo/tech gauge cover

Well, I seem to have scratches/discolouration on the plastic protector in front of the speedo/tach unit of my 2006 AMV8. The discoloration seems to be on the back and hence I can't clean it off. Its irritating since it causes a 'halo' around the readouts.

Does anyone know if this plastic cover is removable or exchangeable?
