annoying click from the rear seats

I have a really annoying click noise coming from what sounds like the rear seats or transmission tunnel.....it sounds like a solenoid click and happens when I drive over the slightest bump in the road......its doing my head in.....anybody got any bright ideas ?

Hi Michael, A few things spring to mind, firstly handbrake cables, try pulling it on a bit does this change the noise, exhaust, as the the tailpipes are more cosmetic and are not actually fastened to the exhaust i have seen the actual exhaust touching these ( just require realignment really easy, if it is behind your right ear could be the vacuum valve for the exhaust bypass poor connection this can click, If you localise it a bit more may have a better idea, high low left or right, also is yours a manual,

Hi Rick.....no its an auto......I have pulled fuse 22 would that make a difference ? I shall ask my wife to drive the car and get in the back and find were its coming from....thanks for your help

no pulling fuse 22 will not cause this and rules out that solenoid, could even be one of the under trays, we so loads where bolts are missing,
