More on the DBS "wheel wobble" problem (Rick?)
Discussion
Worth also checking the hubs to which the wheels attach have been machined correctly,
if the center is misaligned to the studs it will cause the vibration problem.
Prop shaft has not been mentioned so I trust it would not be something so simple.
Steering rack mounts, bushes, damper? all possibilities.
Mark.

Mine went back to Grange - the supplying dealer after spending the summer in my local Aston service bay with no results. I received a call last week telling me the problem as been eliminated with new brakes being fitted to the front. So.. I'm heading over on Wednesday for a test drive. Will keep you posted.
My new brakes eventually arrived which nicely cured the brake shuddering problem. The wheel wobble problem remains strangely and accidently half-solved -- it is still a bit perceptible occasionally depending on circumstances. Nothing like as bad as it used to be though. According to a poster in another thread Aston have now found the source of the problem and it has something to do with the balancing of rotational parts?
I hear that this was only on the new DBS correct - the original 08 models I had been told didnt suffer this issue...but i'd be intersted to check as have nolticed mine wobbling at over 120mph now...more of a vibration i would say thru the steering wheel but noticeable....if you were to have a cigarette for example it would deposit all the ash on your lap..so its noticeable..ill chek the wheel balancing next weekend but I had also heard of a recall for DBS - something to do with the steering rack bolt or something ? Is that the problem ?
