I noticed last night that both headlights on my V8V had some condensation inside and just wondered if this was right? I cant say that i've ever had a car thats done that before...just a bit worrying..

Hi this is a common problem, there has been limited success by fitting gel backs that work in the short term, Unfortunately as of yet no permanent solution and most except just as a quirk of the design,

And thanks for doing my clear rear lights the other week, they really do make a big difference to my car. Well worth the money smile

It is actually referenced in the manual
Mine does it after a wash or driving in the rain.
I suspect they are not 100% sealed to allow heat to escape, as they cool down they suck moist air in and that condenses.
It soon clears.

Mine got it yesterday for the first time since last winter. Just one of those things.

Thats interesting, cos the DB7 feeds two pipes from the heating and aircon system into
The front of the headlights underneath to help them dry off!!!!! This soon dries out the lights if you washed it and had
some damp in the lights!

I would have thought they might have considered doing this on the newer astons to keep the headslights
bright and clear.

On the other hand, most people don't even realise that this was done on a DB7 anyway ??

Interesting.

Never had to use the A/C feature in the Vanquish yet but the BMW z4mc suffers chronic fogging,i was told to just put the lights on! when i wanted to claim for them on warranty .
our SLK 171 dose it in fog lights and the mirror idicators That's normal i was told by the dealer, never did it in the old 170 model
Yet no problems with my Nissan Navara.
