Finally, after an extensive search I've found one that fits!!
I won't bore you with all the near misses, and ones that fit but leave no legroom for the front passenger etc.
The Kiddy Infinity Pro is the one that works. It uses a lap belt system rather like the old porsche prince seat, which I searched endlessly for on ebay, having chucked my old one out - mistake.
The Kiddy seat works from 9 months to 4 yrs, though I'm told that the 9mos - 11yr seat, called the comfort is the same size, though I can't vouch for that.
This means more use of "the beast", sunday lunchtimes out, weddings, high days and holidays etc. The Mclaren buggy fits nicely in the boot too.
You wont find a proper baby seat group 0 rear facing for this car however.
At least I wont have to swap it in for a Rapide now, which is slower, less powerful, not as pretty, and still has pretty useless back seats - RESULT!!!!!

Sounds like you've been doing the searches I was about to start on ... good news you've found something - pictures would be useful too.
In your searching, have you found anything that suits after the 4yr point?
I am changing my 360 for a Vanquish primarily because it has the small seats in the rear, so any tips would be useful.

I would try the kiddy comfort group 1 and 2 seat.
The trouble with the aston vanquish is that whilt the seats are quite wide, they are not very deep at all. The important thing is that, due to the slope of the front passenger seat, legroom for the baby disappears immediately if the babyseat is set higher up - ie there is all the plastic bolstering underneath. The old porsche prince didnt have this ( hence my search for one)but the new porsche seats do, so i wouldnt be sure that they would fit.
The britax evolva was a perfect fit ( though think this was only a group one, due to a very shallow seat, but the seat belt wasnt long enough ( by about 3 cm) to fit it, and i didnt want to get into messing with extenders, as no one recommends them.
The other thing with the aston v is that there isnt much hearoom, and you will find a number of seats back length too long and pressing on the rear screen. On of the one with extendable backs is hence preferable, so one can shrink it down a bit.
The seats are pretty small - I was going to wait and see if I still had it when he is four before deciding the next step - a booster seat base might do it, but it probably depends on the size of the kid, and whether he will stay in it or not, as to whether its appropriate i would think.

good point about all that plastic. I just about squeezed one into my DB9, but wasn't happy with it, so I changed. I will be looking for the same thing when I get my car in a week or two - my girl is nearly 4.
The two seats we already have have large plastic frames at the back and under the seat.
I borrowed a mates new XK at the weekend and there was no way either would fit (with child), so we borrowed a neighbours Iso Fix seat which fit quite well as it didn't have the bulky frame.
I don't think the early vanquishes have Iso Fix, hence must find a seat.
Don't think just the booster will be good enough as she's only a little dot.
This one doesn't seem to have the same bulky plastic, so might fit better
