The wife and I have just returned from attending the Aston Performance driving course. If you have an Aston or are contemplating buying one Do the course! Awesome. Setting aside the fact your driving skills will improve, the cars are truly fantastic. Our heartfelt thanks to Paul and Rupert our instructors who made our day so memorable. 7 weeks to go before our V8 arrives!

Good to know - I'd probably have to take the mrs too if I went on one as she can't see me having a cold without getting one too - how does that work then when you go as a couple, or did you buy 2 courses?

Had to pay double ! though they did do me a bit of a deal. I had a V8 for most of the day she had a V12. I managed 165 mph down the straight mile, surprisingly the V8 is not far behind. I can report that the V12 is on the rev limiter in fifth at 160.

Throughout the morning you are made aware just how very good the cars are so by the afternoon they have you driving at a fair old lick in total confidence.

I repeat do the course ! Fantastic!
