On the basis BR removed your cats and you're getting a warning, its difficult to say what it is. However I know on my 2006, its the lambda sensors that are playing up (Can't remember the exact error code) but its down to a 'slow' bank response. I use an OBD reader and if its 'only' a slow response (and nothing else more serious) i just clear the codes (Ultimately need some new Lambda senors).
Might be worth getting yourself a OBD reader to confirm the error codes and then go from there. I'd be surprised if its the fuel from Tesco's, might just be coincidental. But I am sure someone wiser than me might have a differing opinion.
For info, I use a Vgate wi-fi obd reader with the dash command iphone app. Can take a while to connect sometimes, but once it has, great for codes and other parameters. There are other OBD readers out there, but I like the dash command I've got.
Implicit advice taken. and VGate reader + Dash Command app have given me a P186D code. Despite some trawling around the Internet I'm none the wiser on what this code refers to. Does anyone have a list of codes? I'll keep hunting anyway.Might be worth getting yourself a OBD reader to confirm the error codes and then go from there. Thanks, Lee, that's tremendous. As the car is still running just fine I wonder if it was a false error. It did seem to fail to engage from N-1 a couple of times... or maybe I just didn't pull the paddle firmly enough. It's into AM Cambridge for a service and some warranty work next month so I'll add this to the snag list.Do you have the manual electronically? If you could possibly share it that would be great. I'll try to work out how to send you a PM.
Thanks again.

I have a flashing check engine light and loss of power. Engine is running smooth but very low on power. Cheapo scan tool showed multiple misfires on several cylinders. Any thoughts? Spark plugs? Car was running fine last week. When running has a rich fuel smell.
Any help or advice is hugely appreciated

strange happening in my 2006 Aston Martin DB9 Volante- after fueling two LEDs on the shelf below the instrument panel started blink along with chimes sounding - first the left side LED blinked, then both the left and right, and then just the right. It lasts about a minute, then repeats again in about 4 minutes. I can't find anything online or in the manual relating to this.
any thoughts?

Morning all, Mike I can get on to your homepage but the upgrades page won't load.... might just be me of course
If it is this page:http://www.bamfordrose.com/road-car/performance-up...
It might be because there is an embedded video playing, so perhaps try a different browser?

Hi
I have a P0315 fault on my 2012 V8S
My (simple) OBD tool will not clear it.
A scan on the net shows that it could be cleared by:
1/ Using an OBD tool with "learn/relearn" capabilities and then revving it until it hits the fuel cut off point
2/ Using a "coast down" procedure - taking it up to 70mph and allowing it to coast down to 40mph and repeating a further two/three times.
Does the second one work? If so, I don’t need to take to the garage.
Thanks
J
