My other car is a bus.
I have timed this - on foot I can outrun my V12 Vantage from home to office in rush hour traffic (5.5 miles in 44 minutes running). The V12 takes about 60 minutes and then I have to get the bloody thing into the lift down to the basement car park. A bus is about 55 minutes.
I know the feeling, cycling to work massively beats Aston (25 mins v 35 mins average), although I get some consolation knowing that it's 45 mins door to door with the tube.I have timed this - on foot I can outrun my V12 Vantage from home to office in rush hour traffic (5.5 miles in 44 minutes running). I cant believe you choose to slum it with the great unwashed for the sake of only 5mins. I would personally still use the V12 if it took 60mins and the bus only took 10min.I have timed this - on foot I can outrun my V12 Vantage from home to office in rush hour traffic (5.5 miles in 44 minutes running). Going westbound on M40 on Friday, nearish M25 turnoff - Black DB9 with private plates, Black DB9 Volante but couldn't see plate due to cars being in the way. Going eastbound on M40, Black DB4 (I think). All within a mile of each other.
Also a red Ferrari F430 and a Black Ferrari California on the same stretch of the M40 as the above spots. All in all, a good car spotting day.

Dark blue DB9 in Hereford this afternoon registration LJ10???. We are few & far between in this neck of the woods so Hi - next time you see Mr & Mrs sensible diesel Civic driver gawping at you - forgive us - but our other car's a Vantage S and we get a bit excited when we see another Aston in the wild!
Had you spotted me last week negotiating the Hereford evening rush hour traffic you might have been amused as Rob GT (husband) was passenger in an Alfa in front and his daughter was passenger with me in the S when he jumped out of the Alfa at the lights and pretended to have a bit of a go at us - childish, but amusing at the time and you should have seen the jaws dropping in the cars around us Well it had been a spirited drive and he had been enjoying the sight & sound of his beloved six week old AM so I guess he was feeling a little light headed !
