Only natural. Especially when you've spend as much time restoring it.

Here it is ...sob.Hopefully its mostly the wheel, panels & lights etc etc etc.Insuree man will see this week.

One has to carefull of these wiley & agile lamposts.

This one really hurts...
For sale 1 uniquely shaped alloy-would suit clown bike. OR For sale 3 perfect alloys would suit Robin Reliant.

'Its your fault I was looking at that new gauge'...Mrs T
Do I sound bitter?

y'dont say.

Sorry....

Actually its the way the fr bumper is now seated (or not). There's quite a bit of bent metal behind the headlight fittings too.
My main worries are in the; fr suspension/axle region,no obvious visible damage but looking at the state of that wheel rim+tyre (that absorbed most of the impact),we shall see.

Hope ya get it sorted again real soon, pity to see such a nice motor knocked about like that.
Looks like banning the "better than men at driving" woman of the house from driving it again eh?

Damage can't be that bad as you've not lost your humour.

RANT ALERT
Just been down to the garage to see how things are shaping up...
Wish I hadnt gone.
The new bumper isn't 'sitting' very well,so there are large gaps beneath the headlamps(this wasnt a 'one size fits all'budget jobbie either-not much change out of £500.00).The guys have had to cut it about so much, they've the paint so it will need respraying AGAIN-3rd time lucky. They havent even started on the camber tensioning rods & bushes etc.One of the 'lads' has stuck a screwdriver thru the radiator-needs complete recoring-£120.00-when he saw my satanic/hysterical expression-'its ok,I won't charge you for that.'
'Grrrrrr'
'Yes its our fault'
'.................'
'please say some thing'
etc
Im pi$$ed off its taking so long,
I'm doubly pi$$ed off they're not taking proper care of my car. This is why I like to do most of my own work-at least I can it up myself then

Kill them. Nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

They sound like a right bunch of monkeys.

Next time you go, have a bag of nuts with you as a "treat/bribe".

Jeez. I had a full suspension/steering rebuild + bumper and wing replaced in two weeks. (It did take a month and a half of wrangling with the insurance company to get the right bits replaced though You would be amazed the amount of people that don't know about track rod ends!)

I would also suggest to the manager that "screwdriver boy" should never set foot within a 3 foot distance of the car ever again.

I wish you the best of British...

hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehhehehehe etc etc etc

Took me around an hour to get back into feeling right & confident,I forget just how big this car is.Ive got some old 17" wheels(whilst I get the Volks done) Falken rubber shod, they're really not a touch on the the Good Year F1's.In 2nd/3rd if I put the boot down(even a 'bit'gently) I'd be washing-out/fishtailing sideways. The F1's really bite in & give much better launch/hard accel & cornering control. In this car tyres & susp setup make soooo much difference.Engine/exhaust still sounds fantastic, very deep & growly, wooshy intake/turbo-Darth Vader still living under the bonnet & I was only running 0.7Bar boost-to be safe
Parked up for something to eat,& just sat there looking at it-like a smitten teenagerI'm still not 100% sure if I like the new GTR bumper, but over-all she's still my beaut!-I'd got a bit dispondant over the whole skyline thing recently, having had a run of bad luck this year with her.
By now its mid Fri evening,so I head into Bristol for a bit of chav baitingits big, white, loud & quick- 'nuff sed
My ego fully inflated I head home happy,(this R33 turns me into a monster )full suspension/camber/tracking etc setup with a PROgarage in the morning.
