I would also be interested in the issues with ICR? I will PM you.
I had good service from them in November.
Mine will be out of warranty towards the end of 2014 and I was intending to go with the ICR warranty rather than Warranty Direct as they don't seem to have great reviews.
I am so glad that I went down the FX route rather than an X5 or X6 it's a superb car.

Please elaborate as I'm swaying into cayenne territory.
Edit maybe not, an equivalent in age and spec is £70k !

One of the issues I had.
Anything with similar spec. had a huge price premium and most did not feel as exciting to drive or as unusual/special.

Thanks T5GRF
your PM was interesting and I can understand the frustration. I am curious as to whether any other infiniti drivers have ever been contacted by infiniti to ask what Infiniti UK could be doing to raise its UK profile?
I have had cars from all prestige makes except Audi so have got to know the good, the bad and the ugly from them all.
OPC's in London when I had my Cayenne was the worst experience I have ever had with official dealers for those of you thinking of a Cayenne (recommend an OPC outside London such as Leicester who were fantastic with my 911).
The attention to detail is what makes a difference at this level and I give just a few examples of my experience to date.
I purchased my car new from Infiniti- No FU call to see how I was getting on.
I received a card with a flash drive built in to allow me access to Infiniti owners club- looks good but as far as I can tell it does not actually do anything so what is the point.
Tried to book service at Infiniti Mayfair to be told to ring Infiniti Reading- that's fine but a really good organisation would be able to (1 book it for me as they are both the same company so could easily do that)or take my details and state that someone from ICR would ring me back to arrange. Minor points I grant you but that is what they should aspire to.
Post service no FU to see if I was satisfied.
Finally they offered me an EX as courtesy vehicle. With less than 500 sales last year and as I had discussed changing my wife's lexus for an infiniti they could have discussed what car I may be interested in.
I reiterate these are minor things but it is what Lexus does well. Infiniti really do need to decide where they want to be in the UK prestige market and speak to people who can give them constructive advice. The product is very good. I love my FX but will I buy another infiniti in 2 years not sure at present.

I am afraid that they are very lacking in the customer satisfaction department in my view, my last conversation with Reading ended with me telling the service manager that they have lost me when my FX goes in May.
I find that they do not return calls and you have to call 2 - 3 times! I've never had anything like the level of service I expect and when they are portraying themselves as a premium brand you loose faith quickly.

I think what is most disappointing is that having been on the receiving end of the usual mediocre and sometimes downright awful main dealer experience with other brands, I was hoping that the oldest and largest Infiniti centre representing a brand that seems to be all about customer service would be an enjoyable, hassle free experience. It was not.

This customer service issue is a real shame.
I had excellent service from ICR including bringing a car to Devon to test drive and servicing in November. But it seems like they are slipping badly.
I really want to stay with Inffiniti as I love the rareity and overall driving experience, but if customer service becomes really bad then it maybe back to BMW or Porsche, not that Porsche are great in customer service either.

T5GRF. Just PM'd you on the service received at Reading, mine was there just before Xmas so good to compare and I'll need to go back in the summer for a service.

Well they haven't got all of my money yet! £340 for 4 mudflaps is disappointing and not worth it.

Congrats on joining the club!

Be great to see some pics of the DRLs once fitted. Still haven't got round to getting mine done.

I have to admit I had the wing mirrors wrapped, felt they stuck out like two large ears being white. That said I went for a subtle carbon wrap a al Vittel edition (sort of anyway) and to my mind they look better. Did look at getting the side vents wrapped as well, local chap would have done then for 70 notes in same material.
