Gaz can I email you some Toyota turbo photographic porn?

A friend of mine has made a £10K Toyota engine himself and fitted it in his £2k Supra! It is maniacal (is there such a word?!). Coming on for 500BHP now.

Post it here ...please.

Gaz that looks like it could be a good find, esp if the price doesnt go up too much.
Word of warning about 2nd hand turbos(from painful experience),no matter how good condition they appear to be-unless youreallyknow what youre looking at,-get a pro to check it over.
Here is list of other poss suitable blowers.
P.S.is some Jap metric power measurement-not quite(but very close)equal to BHP.

10 thousand pound for a 500hp supra motor is crazy

The 2JZ-GTE is capable of three times that. It would do 500hp or damn close to it without even opening it.

And if they were spending that kinda money on an earlier motor im still just as confused
