I am looking to purchase a Mazda CX-3.
The couple of test drives in the 1.5D SL-Nav were promising. Lots of toys, nice drive, decent place to be.

Any owners on here that can give me some owner feedback?

My daughter has a 2.0 SE-L Nav in Ceramic, I’ve only driven it briefly so can't really provide any day to day feedback. I really like the looks and an added bonus is that you don’t see many about yet.

She wanted the sport version, but it was off limits due to the loss of boot space with the Bose upgrade. She has a young baby so space was important, she came from a previous generation Mazda 2, and did look at the new version.
We took the pram along with us on the test drive, the base wouldn’t fit in the 2 and only just fitted in the CX3, ideally she needed the space of the CX5 but felt it was a little too big. The CX3 has isofix, but with the baby seat fitted she has to move the front passenger seat forward a bit.

The baby related info is probably of no use, but it does give you some idea of the space available.
SE-L Nav has lots of toys and in true Mazda fashion is well put together, we’ve had a few Mazda’s in the family and all have been extremely reliable. So it's a thumbup from me.

Thank you! I was a bit worried about the boot space (I have a growing Old English Sheepdog) but this is my car for commuting.

I did think the Bose subwoofer took up a lot of useable space.

I think the loss of space would probably put a lot of people off, rather strange option really. Cracking looking car though, take the dog along to the dealer, I'm sure they won't mind him hopping in the back.

Mrs just put an order in for Sport Nav 2wd auto, with the stone leather, armrest, scuff plates and mats were thrown in for free, and managed to get a discount on the list price.

We took two test drives over a couple of weekends, my impression was it handled well, quite comfortable and for a small crossover vehicle it has enough space (I'm 5'11"), lots of toys as standard but worth going up in model range and negotiating a discount as the stone leather and suede upgrade is nice, so is the active head up display.

My only gripe is storage space in the car, but we could live with it, I like less clutter in the car and I like the minimalist interior looks coupled with the excess goodies. The infotatainement system was figured out by us without any instruction very quickly, and is very good.

So overall, I am happy, pretty much blew the Renault Captur away that we also test drove and also the Q3 sent me to sleep.

I took the plunge and ordered one - SE-L NAV in Red. Pick up next Saturday.

Since I started looking I have only seen two others on the road.

Thread resurrection....

Looking at the Sport 4wd - how's much of the boot space is taken up by the Bose?
Dealer only had the 2wd version with the false boot floor to look at.

Is the Bose under the floor so the false floor is omitted?

Really like the look of it, is a little left field, and very well specced for the price.
Alternative is possibly a Vitara S..

The boot space is small. The Bose will render the false floor useless.

For those who find this thread, just under a year of ownership I like the car. It's not particularly quick, nice to drive, and good mpg (50 mph is the norm).

Oh and the large dog fits in the boot for small journeys.
