all this FD talk has reminded me.. it's Rotorstock II in a week and a bit...

who's going??

it's cheap to get in, there's drag-strip stuff and apparently drifting this year.. and the best collection of FD's your likely to see...

there's also loads of other machinery there incase (for some crazy-arsed rediculous reason) you're not interested in the rotary stuff

Stratford raceway.. May 29th & 30th (bank holiday)

See you at the Drifting arena, I'll be there doing some demos. Might also be tempted to pop in a 1/4 mile too.

I'll definately be there both days so come say hi. Should eb a real good show and there are a few special cars turning up.

My main expectation is for the 1st FD into the 9's (best last season was 10.4 from Re:worx's red beastie @ the pod).

Carl Hayward's 4-rotor n/a should be deafening, Dragon Performance should have something a bit sexy challenging (Ross was the fastest FD at R1).

If it's anything like last year though - bring the sun cream!

I believe its officailly known as "Shakespeare County Raceway". As we all know, Shakespeare was famous for his drag racing

Just another pointless atttempt to get dumb tourists to turn off the road and pay entrance to something not even remotely linked to Shakespeare. A bit like Stratford as a whole really.

Anyway, when is Rotorstock??
I'll be up for it, as its only 5 miles from my house!!

Unfortunatley, I wont be driving a Jap car by then

You're welcome to have a ride in mine, look me up either Sunday or Monday.

Had some 'bad' news - was in the process of having a v-mount rad/intercooler installed but it turns out the rad is way too big for a twin turbo setup (too many air filers in the way) so I'll be running slower than expected

Shame really.

Well its just the main day really. Its the day all the competions are running, the Sunday is just general practice. I would expect Monday to easily be busiest, and have the most interesting things running.

I shall be there on the Monday with my trade stand and a few special cars on it as well, hopefully some of the drift cars that are competing from Team Demon.

Pop by and say hi at the Opieoils stand.

Cheers

Guy.

See you there!!

They may not let you in with a dog.Pod stewards gave me a real ear-bashing a few years ago when I had no option but to bring mine along.Health & Safety, & all that.
Buy mum some flowers/chocs!

I did just that a few months back, left the woofers at parents, all very well until one of the pesky dogs only goes & kills the neighbours pet bunnies (ok they were wild but well fed by them)

Oooops looks like thats the last time I can leave them at Mums then

I'll be there at the drify bit both days, in the hairdryer, pop over & say hello.

right then.. having had a quick read of the timetable, and giving everybody enough time to arrive...

how about..

11:30am

in the Jap carpark in the centre...

somebody with a car that stands out care to park there and volunteer their car as the meeting point??
if not, then maybe the corner of the 'for sale' area on the crossroads?
