I'm looking for LINKS of dealers in the south east, or of nice known examples privately. Must be black, quad round headlamp version, sub 60k miles, mint. I'd really apreciate any help. There's beer money in it for a sucessful link. Thanks a lot.

I've found two cars, both uk, black, full spec, unmolested, low mileage and mint. Although they were via the local rag and other online searches. Getting a main dealer inspection on one shortly.

I'm getting the best of the black DC2's I've seen checked out by a Honda main dealer tomorrow, on my day off. If it's A1 I'll go for it.

I've also heard about supercharger conversions for integra's, boosting output by 40%. Companies like Autocraft SVE offer them, but they're way ooop north. Anyone know of SE dealers offering this? 3.5k all fitted sounds ok.

May go for some simple lightening too. The one I want already has no aircon to help the low mass. I was also thinking along the lines of removing the unused rear seats, rear belts, parcel shelf, boot liner, boot lower shelf, radio, speakers, changer etc. Any thoughts?

Woooops.

I seem to have bought a black STI scooby, well over budget. I had a little drive and it blew me (and the other options) into the weeds. Oh well. Now I'm going to get some matching black wheels and all the badges, reflectors and silly exterior detail stuff removed.

Really? Would that be in the south east? Is it a reputable outfit?

It's currently standard spec running 280. The thought of a filter, hayward & scott and dump valve did cross my mind. A nice round 300 seems more sensible.

I know one of the best mappers in the Subaru business who now works up north but comes down south occasionally to do southen work.

Will post them in a couple of weeks. Need to get the wheels swapped first.

Classic stuff!
I know this feeling soooo well. You set your heart on a car(or anything else for that matter),you research it,spend time scouting etc.You find one you like the look of,and are that close to clinching the deal.
Then you see, like & buy something completely different-all in 24hrs.
Makes life worth living mate to you!

It's a bit mad isn't it. I recently did the same on my hifi. I researched it for ages and settled on some active ATC studio monitors (speakers). Right at the last minute I did an A/B comparison demo with some PMC studio monitors and they totally blew me away. NowI have those in my lounge instead.
