I was a bit confused by the term 'performance volvo' that cropped up in that thread but it is a classic. Always given away by users with < 20 posts...

In Sweden last year I met a really cool bloke (boyfriend of a friend of the Fiancee we were visiting). He works for Volvo and does mental things to cars (2-engined Golf apparently) and was considering their next project - another sub 10 sec Volvo. Apparently the garage he works for (gaffering) doesn't mind them doing this stuff out of hours and it keeps his hand in. Being a Scandi he's suitably insane though.

Sat 18th matey.

Its a mates b'day, and he's organising paintballing during the day, and some form of student style p155 up at night.

He's also got a silvery FTO, you might have seen him about. Quite loud, and he tends to drive WOT to the redline, in every gear

I do like the drive to Pompey, especially on the Sunday morning after (ignoring hangover)

I might be down there the weekend after aswell, for Arsenal vs Portsmouth, dpending if I can get tickets the week before (and work permitting )

Where do all these scuicidal kids come from?
please, please not the kids again! Why not say, 'run over a nun' or a small but perfectly formed & cute furry marsupial?

Is here really an arse, or a wind-up artist?

The more of his posts I read, the more I like him

He usually has a valid point, but just seems to be so blunt with his replies that people forget the fact that he is very possibly correct.

But yes, he is just an arse (from what I can gather)
