Hi everyone,
Does anyone know whether there is room in the boot of the new mazda mx-5 to fit an electric aerial?

the standard one is a real eyesore and really wants changing pronto.

It's possible I don't understand the question, but my MX-5 came with an electric aerial fitted as standard. If you're just after an aerial that retracts when the stereo's off (and yours doesn't), Mazda can probably fit the electric bit for you.

If you want to totally change the aerial, I've no idea I'm afraid!

Yes - both MK1 and MK2 have been available with a leccy ariel. Easy to install, but not cheap from dealers.

I recently fitted one to my MR2 Turbo so it should go on a MX5 no bother, they have a black mast and look sound.

Cost me about £40, as oppose to the £150 Toyota wanted.....Twats.
