Instead, they seem to have been placed at the minimum height necessary to be able to see over the intake at the back. Uninspiring.
It all seems to be merely adequate, rather than fantastic.
I wonder if the driving sensation will also be capable, like the Lexus, rather than fantastic, like the BMW CSL.

If I simply wrote that I didn't like it, it would be without meaning. I tried to explain why I didn't like it. You found that to be self-contradictory gobbledygook. Fair enough. Some design professionals that I had dinner with last night, agreed with it. However, I will be the first to admit that doesn't mean much--everyone's reaction to a design is a personal thing based on their preferences/perceptions. I would love to discuss the points you raise about the 3-series vis-a-vis the market it serves, but I don't want to derail the thread. Regardless of my reaction to the looks, I am sure it will be a solid value.
