That looks cracking, really nice :-)
Engine standard, aye? Surprised it's quicker than the FI'd MX5 tho, given the weight difference.
Ah my MX5 is NA (Super 190 package) not the turbo. It's actually quite marginal on Power to weight but the torque makes a big difference and top speed is higher as well on the Subaru.Engine standard, aye? Surprised it's quicker than the FI'd MX5 tho, given the weight difference.
Yup engine is standard (other than the PPP tune but that's standard on the GB270) it'll stay that way too

Scrubbed up well.
I thought that location looked familiar.

Thanks, it's far from perfect but it passes the 10 metre test which is enough for me as I want to drive the thing more than look at it. I thought that location looked familiar.

Yes your mapping skills are spot on, I live locally. The roads in the Five valleys around Stroud suit the Type R quite well and also offer a few handy places to stop for a quick snap. Minchinhampton common (to the right in the pic) is also a nice stop having gone up "the W" out of Nailsworth.

It needs the rear shocks sorted soonish although they're not terrible, I'll probably upgrade them and fit STI Brembo brakes when I get the suspension done, and get it aligned as well as that's a bit off.
You have to make sure you get the right versions for the rear. A lot of parts places get it wrong. The later ones are inverted struts with in integral bump stop. I converted my 05 back to 03 shocks because I was fed up with the 25 minute lifetime!I believe that the GT1 wheels you have will slightly foul the Brembo caliper the STI uses.

"only" two years, I've never seen or heard of a 4WD 323, that's off the scale cool!!
323 GTR was never officially sold in the UK,Japan only, developed for Group A and showed great early promise but sadly Mazda pulled the plug, great little cars,I actually prefer it to my old Intergrale Evo.
