one thing doing it, its another thing telling customers that a manufacter is issueing instructions like that
That alone wouldn't have lost them the sale - the car and the deal on wheels and SatNav had already pretty much done that.

Oh and a private plate - AR 02 ZEE
Get some Muz mats from OZ www.australia-goldcoast.com/
The standard mats are rubbish - you get a discount for being an S2Ki member.
Also - you will burn a lot of oil when running in (no VTEC for 500 miles though !) - check every week if you start VTEC'ing a lot. The car is filled with mineral oil at first - use the enhanced mineral oil from halfords to top up until the first oil change.
Check they removed the spring spacers pre-delivery
The car runs better on Optimax...
Lots more in the FAQ on the link I posted earlier.

Cheers Douglas - I have been scrutinsing the Tech FAQ - loads of useful info on there..
I'll be looking for an ICE fitter (Hants/Berks/Surrey) to put an Alpine MP3/CD Headunit in and hook it up to the fingertip controls soon. Any thoughts on that?
Are certain biker Menace with a mod stick may be able to assist.
This company do adapters, dunno if you need a different one though, due to age of the vehicle?

I installed a Alpine CDM9803 head unit so I could run my iPod. If you get one of these, the Alpine part number that allows the dashboard controls to work is KCE865B.

Is the plate 'sposed to spell Arsey? That is going to feel a bloody long time until it's delivered! Will you be coming to the next PH japchat meet then?
No - I could have had AR51, which would have spelled 'arsey' but it was more expensive and I couldn't justify an extra £400 for a more juvenile plate - that £400 is going on ICE
As to the delivery date, well now.. salesguy has been on to me again and I'd told him I wanted either Berlina Black with black/red leather or Ascari Red with black leather, which ever I can have the sooner. He now thinks theres a Black with Black/Red that I could have this month.
So the upshot is that I still don't know which colour combination I'm going to end up with but I could well be getting my car much sooner than anticipated
Err.. Japchat meet... yeah - why not.. ou sont les details?

Berlina with red leather is definately the best colour combo!! Although the new Moon Rock colour looks jolly nice too (haven't seen it in the metal yet though)
Just make sure you have plenty of car wash time pencilled into your schedule
Bit late to this one, but may I too offer my congratulations on an excellent decision.
Even though the insurance may be a bit expensive (try Liverpool Victoria btw), you will probably get it back on the running costs. In 16k miles (7 months of ownership), I've spent £146.30 on servicing and am just about to have a couple of new rear tires at £96.94 each.
I'm lucky too I guess that the oil level doesn't really move in mine, even with lots of VTEC . I did follow the running in guide pretty well though.

My UK03 has a small Honda remote with two buttons, one of which locks the other unlocks and can open the boot if you have the knack.

You need to press the unlock button just as the indicators stop flashing for the third time when unlocking the car. The boot should unlock. Unfortunately it's not an exact science and doesn't work 100% of the time. The manual says within 3 seconds of the third flash, but that's never worked on mine - you might need to experiment.

On phone to dealer now...
Daz - I've screwed them down on price now based on the red car - the black is £300 more and I'm not moving on the price.
And I don't want any red dashboards

There havin a laugh... black is std on S2000!! unless they have just changed pricing with introduction of 04my... its still solid colour isnt it?
Me thinks the Black one is at another dealer and his trying to pull his transport costs back
