Will a LSD from a E36 318is fit into a E36 328i? I know the bigger case M3 one does...but I also by memory remember that a 318is has better ratios?
What would one recommend the M3 or 318? What I'm really asking will it be able to cope with anything up to 250bhp and still be operational and perform well.
Also what sorts of performance can I expect from each?
I'm aware of what needs to be changed...i.e the prop length etc and it'll be a smaller case diff...but can't find any info on it being done.
Cheers in advance

If it were Me I'd go with the 3.15 LSD from a 3.0 M3. It's less work to fit to the 328i than the EVO version.
One thing that seems to get forgotten is that if your diff ratio is too short, you can get to a point where you lose more time due to gear changing than you gain in acceleration.
Just something to bear in mind.
