I'm also looking for a good BMW forum, I'm trying to research mp3 playback options in an E65. (Basically I can already play them from an mp3 CD in the changer, but I want to put several GB on a USB stick or iPod and control via I-Drive.) Should I be asking here, BMW forums, 7 series forums or a Hifi Forum? Googling doesn't help much. frown
The Seven Series Register is a very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and helpful forum with dedicated sub-forums for each generation, plus the Eight Series due to its commonality with E32 and overlap of owners etc.

I've never found any of the BMW forums to be particularly good, especially this side of the ocean. Always had much better response from model specific forums such as Z4-forum or babybmw (something like that - for the 1 series).

I've found BmwLand to be ok but have noticed that the same questions can crop up and tend to get ignored.
Lots can be found in the search function on there.

Seems very model specific, and experienced same issue. I've found for e92, best is e90 post and go to uk section. Seems as busy and relevent as any.

I think your auto gearbox or torque converter has failed. Both will probably write the car off.

It is not specific to the UK but try Bimmerpost.com. It is organized by car series.
