Drivers window keeps dropping
Discussion
Strange problem with my 125i M Sport. Today, I noticed that when I shut the door, the window doesn't close the last 5mm into the rubber; same when I open the door; the glass doesn't drop as it should.
Then when I open the window and try and close it; as soon as it hits the rubber; it comes back down about 100mm as though it is sensing something is about to be trapped. The only way I can close it is to flick the switch a bit at a time to get it to the top. Then when I close the door; it hits the rubber instead of fitting under it.
I have the comprehensive warranty on the car so I think this will be covered if it came to a repair, but I thought it might be something simple that I could check and sort myself before I go down the dealer route.
Anybody got any ideas?
Thanks

Had a look on Google and the search came up with the following fix:
"Hold the window switch down for 20 seconds after the window has reached the bottom; then raise the window and as soon as it gets to the top; hold the button for a further 20 seconds"
I tried this and it worked!
