Whats the highest mileage E46 330 petrol people have seen?
Discussion
Mine is a diesel 2010 330 E91 which I've had since new, and is on 148000. Looking to swap it for a 440 or 435 petrol, but its going to be such a shame to see it go!
So far its never missed a beat and since it had new pads and discs a few months ago it feels perfect. It would be interesting to see what its current bhp and torque figures are, it really shifts.

330ci Sport on 122,500 but 6 months ago that was 108,000 and I'll do 500+ this week so watch this space
It hadn't been well looked after but with a service inc plugs, MOT, front shocks, front pads and calipers, rear tyres, TC/gearbox rebuild and a water pump all for about £1500 thanks to a specialist (and a warranty for the gearbox) it's hopefully getting there.

A mate's 328i Touring is on 151k. If I am honest pulls and drives alot better than the 120k 323i that I bought off him ; the latter had less miles per year on it as well as new springs and dampers all round.
His touring is a wierd one. At some point it's had money thrown at it ; none of the shock absorbers are BMW, and it appears a few bushes etc. have been replaced in time. The last few years weren't kind but that's all changed with the new tyres and poly bushes in key areas.
My M3 is on 132k. If I am honest it was in better condition than the lower miler cars I saw. The only possible exception was a 98k car but the exterior of that was rustier than mine despite the interior looking slightly better. I have a plan for my seat and some of the trim (I do strive for a near new car feel however as my friends tell me!).

So in actual fact there all probably over 300 odd as most of them would of been clocked more than once at some point
I can't say much but with limited mileage policies and the emphasis on mileage as well as limitations on lease car mileages I'd say you're not miles away from the truth. At this age I buy on condition and whether things tally up .ishay said:

Thread revival, but how are we doing? My X-reg 330ci Sport is now on 156k having put 10k on a year for the last three I have owned it.
Four years is a long time, but if its still with me I see no reason not to get to the next big milestone.

Mine flew straight through another MOT last week on 159K. In the four years I’ve owned it not once has it let me down. I give it regular oil and filter changes, done a few bits of preventative maintenance like the cooling system, suspension, belts and tensioners etc and still only owes me about 3K including purchase. Was thinking of gettting rid but for the money it’s worth I’ll probably keep it going until something expensive breaks!
My pre facelift 330ci Sport 5 speed is on 140k and going well. I haven’t had it that long, since April. It’s a lovely car and if I’m going to keep it (company car coming) and I really hope I do, I’ll happily spend a couple of grand sorting the cooling system and the bodywork bits and bobs (usual minor crusty bits and paint correction) and have the the wheels all refurbished with some Goodyear’s all round I’ll then keep it forever.
Fantastic cars, can’t think of any other car for the money I’d rather own right now.

Charles' "blog" can be found below. Lots of interesting ramblings over 320,000 miles of ownership.
