E46 M3 gone replaced by 645...

Epic mile munchers.
I bought the M6 version but if I hadn't, I probably would have gone for the 635D.
The 6 series are effortless cruiers and bloody rapid too in all guises.
I have a love-hate relationship with mine. At the moment, I'm in love. When it comes to the next service though, I suspect it'll be hatred again
Costs aside from fuel and road tax have been nil. Buy with AUC warranty for peace of mind and you're golden.

Having read many of your other posts, it's good to hear things are running well!
I'm having a oil leak patch! at the moment..cure one start another. Pretty poor from Bmw actually compared to other marques in this regard.

I had an oil leak a few days after I bought mine. It turned out to be an overfill of brake fluid which dripped onto the tarmac slowly.I'm having a oil leak patch! at the moment..cure one start another. Pretty poor from Bmw actually compared to other marques in this regard.
Remove or inspect the plastic cowling underneath. Clean it up and see if it still occurs. It could be something simple. Also keep an eye on engine oil level. Does yours have the manual or electric dipstick?
I am getting more comfortable with mine, doing routine checks. I could probably service mine now if I was pushed into it, same with brakes and other maintenance. They are complicated but if you forget the idrive nonsense then alot of the fear factor disappears.

Yep they're only cars after all.
Defo an oil leak though. Thing is the AUC warranty doesn't cover em which I think is pretty bad on an 80k mile engine.
But there you go.
It depends on how long the leak has persisted. If it has been recently serviced by BMW, bring up the issue with them. Mine was literally a few days after I purchased the car so Leicester Sytner had no get out clause.Defo an oil leak though. Try ringing around a few BMW garages, they could give you a more satisfactory answer re the warranty situation.
Have you put some cardboard down underneath the car to see which area is leaking oil? Get it on some jacks or ramps to check for wet spots and work from there. If it is the sump area, clean it up with some engine degreasant, and see if it still leaks. If needs be, buy a new sump plug and washer, engine oil and oil filter and change the oil.
