Looks pretty low to me!

Why does this keep winking at me in the classifieds?

https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...

Yes, I know it's missing a proper boot but we hardly ever use ours (dog won't stay in it)...

It's e46 M3 money... But classier, no?

If I was buying tomorrow this is where my money would go...

I just found a great car on Auto Trader:

Good efforts but there's something about that blue, under those lights, complimented by the wheel colour and I even quite like the interior, despite not being a light colours man!

I've had my eye on that too, I can't help but think they're taking the piss with the price... 8k would be reasonable imo.

That is just the kind of e500 I'd like but yeah, way too expensive. Even for a sport.

There was a 2008 sport for sale a couple of years ago, 2 owner. Didn't that go for the same sort of number?

£12k...WTF?

All three would have to be "Excellent" at that price.

One went almost identical a year or so ago for 8/9k which is fair imo..

There was an Elegence 5.5 estate that went on eBay only a couple of moths ago for about 6k! It was 2007 on lowish miles... that was a bargain imo

I think around this time Merc dropped their 5 litre engine and stated using the 5.5 across the board.

Is anybody looking to sell their 545 or 550? I've been looking at E63 6 series but after viewing a 650i today I think I'd prefer the extra space of a 5 series!

As is the former owner (me). Ok there might be a couple of niggles but at that price it's a no brainer IMHO. I loved it during the 3.5 years I owned it...

It does look cheap to me too. Especially considering how rare they are.

What are the autoboxes like at that mileage? Also I guess the stem seals might be a worry. Good spec though and 300 quid road tax makes up for the slightly dull colour combo.
