Looks very nice other than I've never understood the love for Messing Metallic paint - just looks brown to me. Probably that that has kept it out of the hands of any boy racer types and why its so nice today though!

I think it's a stunning colour; looks so much better in the flesh. Have to say those pics aren't the best really...

The interior looks a lovely place to be!

Have any of you replaced your coil packs?
Are there any that should be avoided?

Stick with OEM which IIRC are Bosch

Part numbers on RealOEM and check eBay and Autodoc for best prices

Makes a massive difference. Had mine done last month at local detailers and they came back well as pretty far gone

I've been driving the old girl since she passed the MOT. I forgot how lively it is to drive. Definitely hustles well, stops well and even goes round bends reasonably well for a family car. It is actually good fun. The all new front suspension arms really do feel tight. I've heard people talk about tight before but never really understood it. I do now. Especially since I have been trying higher pressures. Was previously using 36 psi but now on 42 psi. Possibly a bit too high as I seem to feel everything now through the steering wheel.

Little Alpina meet at Caffeine and Machine earlier this evening. Did over half a tank today of heavy right foot fun up there and back including a convoy of 5 of us from M40 services. Love this car

And way better in the flesh than in the photos, Jules.

I can do that. I'll need to be gone by 11 though. Happy to start earlier if anyone is up for it.

Anyone care to recommend a seller of spark plugs and coils for the N62B48?

Pinewood opens at 1000hrs on a Sunday but happy to rock up 0945 and do some tyre kicking until they open (weather depending).
