Looks a good example that; saw it on Sunday

Would have been keen to see that if I hadn't have bought my E39 V8!

  • Edit; just watched the walk around video - it's overpriced by £2k at least IMO - needs to be more £5k not nearly £8k!

You’re right, Dan. Especially when the seller says about the bits it could do with.

Let’s be honest, at nearly 160 large the smoke probably isn’t the CCV, either.

Ahh, have not watched the video.

Would be interested in one, for the right money and spec, but not sure this one times up well given we have a wedding to pay for in three weeks!

It ain't the CCV; it's the stem seals. So there's £1k off the asking price already

Interior is tatty; exterior is tatty, wheels are foul, tyres need changing, brakes probably too...

As said; £5k tops and I reckon you'd still be in for a few big bills....

Now I've seen the video; I wouldn't touch that with a bargepole unless you're after a project and have someone lined up to sort the engine issues toot-sweet

Watched the video. Doesn't look that bad to me?

As said, he runs it but only breifly from within the car, and does show the exhaust during this.

I've got a e46 330ci on 185k, the stem seals (assumed) pass some oil, as you would expect, but it's really fairly managable. Bit of light smoke when you boot it after a long coast down to a junction on the overun.

It's well worn IMO pal. But then again I've got OCD when it comes to condition of cars...

The engine would still be a concern of mine; you'd want to get the valve stem seals done for peace of mind really, IMO
