A very rare white 325ti has surfaced on ebay, sadly its being broken following a moderate front end collision.
There really can't be many left after 1 was crashed and 2 being broken, one from here
CSS’ car was broken wasn’t it? Was Glen’s car broken or repaired after the accident? There really can't be many left after 1 was crashed and 2 being broken, one from here
There’s at least one without a sunroof and 3 with

Nick is really good. Reasonably priced too, and all he does is alignments. I drive a 100 mile round trip now for an alignment.

Great, what's the average price for an alignment from nick if you don't mind me asking? Nick is really good. Reasonably priced too, and all he does is alignments. I drive a 100 mile round trip now for an alignment.

Ezeeh - Usually around £40, he charges a flat rate.
Mine could be for sale, I always toy with the idea of selling...
Cheers, will give him a call during the week, does he have the alignment specs specific for the compact? i know a few places are a bit funny about having them being a fairly oddball car.Mine could be for sale, I always toy with the idea of selling...

Yeah sounds like a good deal, im booked in for saturday morning for both tyres and the alignment later. Said it varies between 40 and 60 quid but it'd be about £45.
took my ti down to nick at the wheel alignment centre in southampton, what a nice guy, didn't end up getting an alignment although it needs one badly as the front wishbone bushes either side are properly utterly fked. he was able to move both wheels back and forth in the arches quite a considerable amount with a small prybar
Not something i ever noticed with st tyres. Downside to using a friendly mot tester i suppose..
These ones:
He suggested replacing the shagged ones with polybushes, has anyone else done this and is it a wise move over replacing with standard?
Cheers.

I've had both rubber and Poly on both my 325ti and 328ci, and I am not totally sold on the poly bushes. Both in my case, were Powerflex purple series. I liked the slightly more direct steering, but they do make the car tramline more. I found when removing them too to replace control arms, one set had a significant amount of play on the arm. and another had play, and had split, in spite of the Aluminium heat-shield protecting it from exhaust heat. A good set of Lemforder can be had for not massive money from Euros, already in housings. That, with some red rubber grease makes sure they slide on pretty easily.
In short, I'd go with OE style ones. BMW chassis engineers aren't that daft (or more, weren't at the time), so knew rubber was a good choice in terms of overall choice for the bush material.
