Another vote for them - I've had them a couple of times now and they never cease to amaze. Brilliant road and normal track tyre with great feel. Obviously not a last-10th kind of tyre, but for most folks that doesn't matter.
That's fine, so 225/45/17 with ad08r's is the optimum spec bearing in mind I've bought the Style 22 in 7.5J square. I will go hunting, where the cheapest place to buy them?Muzzman said:

I used to grab them from Camskill, but DemonTweeks, Oponeo and mytyres all seem competitive these days, then have them fitted at your local fitters. Mine used to encourage buying them online and getting him to fit them - he used to say he couldn't get them any cheaper, and it saved headaches. Here is a pic my 325ti at the top of the "Devils Beef Tub" on the A701 on my way to Edinburgh last week.
I have had lots of stuff, cars that is and these wee cars are absolutely fabulous and its no wonder this thread has so many pages and contributors.

Thanks for your positive comments but I can assure you it is more than compliant and is fine in everyday use and quite easily completed its recent 500miles trip without removing my fillings-Not bad when you consider it was a mix of motorways, A roads and if you know Edinburgh the various cobbled sections. zooto said:

Now breaking our old facelift 325ti Sport as seen on P142.
PM me if you guys need anything before it goes to meet its maker.
Oh dear what happened to it? Any pics of the interior?PM me if you guys need anything before it goes to meet its maker.
Might be interested in the front struts at very least if they've got recent springs and dampers as mine are tired.
Congrats eezeh, that's a good milestone!
Just in case someone ever finds it useful, this was a new one on me - squeaking brakes, like the disks are warped a regular squeak while you're moving and vibration through the brake pedal. Turns out it was the wheel bearings - I'd fitted the ECP cheap ones (whatever brand they were) last year, barely 5000 miles later they were cooked. Replaced with Febi Bilstein ones and the wobble is gone, on the same brake materials.

As we are now planning to move abroad my Compact will shortly be going up for sale on the usual suspects-Pistonheads & Ebay. If anyone fancies getting in touch beforehand just ping me a message. Btw the mot is about to run out this month but it’s booked in for this Thu and I will ensure it is sold with a new ticket. Does anyone happen to know the bulb size / spec for the singular reversing light? Would like to order a cree LED one and dont have the original to hand, cheers.
Should be a P21W or 382 (depending where you check) like the rest of the bulbs in the rear cluster. How will you get round the light warning on the dash?
