2002 E46 330i Sport Touring here, Manual of course.

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Currently has upgraded pads, stainless lines and ATE superblue in the brakes, some polybushing and LED bulbs. Plans are in progress once the new job starts to do some quite major work to the suspension (overhaul and setup like my previous car, however with KW V3's.. and some other goodies)

Led bulbs? Are these the usual interior / foglight / parking light or have you found use able led headlights? Don't mean to derail the thread but am curious about this.

Looks smart though!

No internal lights, all external. Having seen someone swap out theirs on a Z3 project here, I went to do some research.
Turned up this place www.abd.co.uk whom were very helpful with sorting out the bulbs.

I've changed the following:
Front Sidelights
Front and rear indicators
Front and rear foglights
Rear brake lights
Reversing lights

There's a little bit of interference on the radio, but only when the signal's extremely weak otherwise they're much more noticeable at night. Best bit is they don't blow or trip out the CAN except on the tail light position.

Good effort reviving an old thread….

It’s a club that I am actually a member of now with my wife’s 330i.

I didn't know this thread existed!

I'm a former member as I only kept my 2006 E91 Manual 325i for a year - 2018 to 2019.

I needed a bit more go so a manual E90 330i replaced it!

I'm a bit embarrassed to admit, that even as an F11 535i owner, I didn't actually realise they could be bought with a manual box. Any idea how many were made?

I still qualify for this thread as I still have a E91 335i Manual (380 bhp and LSD, smile ) . It's for sale but nobody seems to want it. I keep driving it. Can't help myself. Just drove 200 miles down to Birmingham in it earlier and started talking myself into keeping it and making a mental shopping list of things I could do on it. We'll see.

Probably around five in Touring form in the UK. I've met the owner of another higher mileage example and apart from that mine is the only one I've seen for sale in the last 18 months.

Sounds like the e91 wants to stay, what would you replace it with?

I've had a couple of rare manual petrol Tourings; the first was this 1995 540i six speed...

I would probably still have it if it hadn't been written off by sleepy taxi driver while it was parked outside a friends house. I replaced it with an M5 Touring...

Sadly the engine and bodywork let go and so it was sold for scrap. I replaced it with two rare Tourings that although have Switch-Tronic gearboxes I almost always drive in manual mode...

2001 Alpina B10 V8 Touring, one of 12 UK rhd cars...

...and a one off in rhd 1995 Alpina B10 4.6 Touring...

Truth be told I would still have the 540i/6 if it hadn't been written off...

...and the B10 4.6 as I learned of its existence just after buying the 540i and promised myself I would buy it if/when it ever popped up for sale.

Still going, now with 261bhp and 333Nm, KW suspension and a whole host of other goodies.
Even made it into PH's 25th Birthday party in the Reader's ride section
