I've got a leather dash in my 530d and whilst on paper it seems like the most frivilous option on the list, it is in fact now one of my favourite and if I were ever buying new, I'd make sure the box was ticked. Certainly on a 3er.

Despite the extra cost I seriously regret ordering the leather dash option in my X5, so definitely, if you can afford it, go for it.

I can't imagine (or want) the work in keeping that white leather looking nice though

Spec' sounds great, OP. That will be a stunning car.

I recently took delivery of an M4CP in Tanzanite with Opal and individual leather instrument panel. Agree that the full leather makes a big difference.

Also agree that it's going to be 'interesting' keeping the interior looking like new.

It's worth the effort though because Opal looks amazing.
