If you scroll through this thread there's a link & contact details for a BMW dealer offering a discount of £36k - and two month lead time.

Really? A discount of £36k? What's that, about 65/70%?

Yeah where do I sign up for the £36k discount, I'll definitely take one if that's true laugh

Spec one up on coast2coastcars.co.uk, that should give you a rough idea of the discounts available

I recommend giving Blue Bell Crewe a ring (speak to Dave Thompson).

I did the same last July and had a brilliant price in my inbox less than half an hour later. Beat the other two dealers that I had talked to by thousands and absolutely zero messing about or time-wasting/pressure sales tactics.

And get a 440i, the engine is fantastic and lifts the 4er to another level altogether ;-)

Thanks to those who answered my questions a few weeks ago. I placed an order on a new 440i M Sport today. Tanzanite Blue with Opal White Merino leather, M Sport Plus pack and a few other tasty options. Very excited, I must say. What's more, I got home from the dealer to see latest issue of Car magazine, which has a great write-up on the 440i M Sport. Must be destiny! Just got to wait for it now. Tick-tock...

Thanks Lee. Something about this car just seems so right.
By the way, do you still have your Cerbera? I remember a couple of test drives in the late 90s, from the TVR dealer in Barnet, but I never quite got round to buying one, which I always sort of regret. They were a lot of fun.

I'm a big fan of the 440i and it's such a cracking package I reckon, the Cerbera has gone now sadly but really enjoyed it over the six years I had it and it was a big giggle to drive.

It caused me a bit of pain though and TVR ownership is a very rocky road! but pleased I got to experience it, looking forward to seeing pics of your new motor when you get it. smile
