They are superb cars and the V8 sounds awesome
But there is a huge bork factor with these that everyone knows about; so you go in with your eyes wide open and either fix them before they become an issue, or drive it until they become an issue and then fix them (mainly the V coolant pipe, the alternator bracket seal and the various other seals that all like to leak) etc...

(And deal with valve cover gasket leaks, oil housing leaks, oil cooler housing leaks, sump gasket leaks... )
